Great Sunday brunch, if you have a chance sit on the patio. Good food for a pretty good price. Sunday's are pretty packed so get there early. Their drink specials are good as well.

Ate breakfast at this establishment this morning.
Seated right away and a pretty extensive menu for breakfast.
Ordered my usual corned beef hash and eggs while I drink my coffee.
I possibly could have given the meal 5 Stars except, nothing was cooked.
Oh, the English muffin was cooked
Over easy eggs were runny.
Hash browns were just barely Tan.
Fresh corned beef hash but was completely cold/raw on one side. -

Definitely a local fave. I have never been here, nor have I done much research on Yelp. So when you are in the Tri Cities - and look up lunch on Yelp - you will find Sterling's.
I have only been for lunch. When I walked in the nicest tall guy greeted us, told me he loved my Yelp hair and asked me about my day and since I talk a lot we stood there for quite a while.
BIGGEST. MENU. I. HAVE. EVER. SEEN. It's like 4 pages. Have you seen Schitts Creek? Their menu is hilariously large and this reminds me of it. I love the options, but then again I didn't love how many options I had, but I did love the options....ugh as indecisive as I am, especially when I'm hungry...geeeez.
I ordered the burger and fries and the soup and salad bar. THAT SOUP AND SALAD BAR IF FIRE FIRE FIRE. There are so many options and it's unlimited and I think that is CRAZY. I tried the tomato bisque, the veggie, the chicken and rice and all things salad and was almost too full when my HUGE burger meal was delivered.
Super great food, here is the service: it took forever to get waters, it took forever to get lemonade, it took forever to get the fry sauces. Then there was a busser, bussing his table....on the phone. No, no, no. Purely my preference, but I would come back for the food. *shrug* -

WIDE variety of menu options: ribs, seafood, steak, burgers, sandwiches, salads. The menu is kind of overwhelming. They also tout a large soup and salad bar.
Our service was average - mostly okay but I had asked if they carried herbal tea and never heard back. Hmm...
Anyways....we ordered baby back ribs, salmon fettuccine, and a jumbo shrimp/cod plate. The baby back ribs were okay...nothing to write home about. The salmon fettuccine was tastier. The shrimp/cod was filling. The side salad looked like it was in a cold case too long or was a tad frozen.
It was a bit underwhelming...but okay in a pinch. -

This is for the Clearwater Kennewick location. We are long time sterling's customers and have usually been satisfied with our meals and service. Solid 4-star experiences. However, in the last month or two, every aspect seems to be going downhill.
The salad bar has not been kept up, lettuce is wilted, items aren't stocked. The salad bar is my favorite but lately it has been sub par so I've ordered from the menu.
I usually order the ATA. It's like eggs Benedict with asparagus, tomato and avocado. Normally delicious and highly recommended but the last 2 times the tomatoes have been a sparse sprinkling of diced tomatoes instead of a nice slice and the asparagus has been woody and no where near fresh. The English muffin was inexplicably soaked, saturated as if dipped in grease. Totally inedible.
Our table had a dirty coffee mug and a dirty fork. Every dish was chipped. Menus were old, worn and dirty.
Coffee was not refilled. Except when the manager walks by and realizes we have chronically empty coffee, then he was on it! He made an effort to make up for our dismal service. We had to ask twice for water.
We had one waitress that seemed completely overwhelmed taking care of 2 tables. The other waitress near our section that we tried to flag down was much too busy flirting with a customer and trying to get a date for Saturday night.
Surprisingly, the real star of the show for breakfast is the oatmeal. It is fantastic, fresh and delicious. It is served heaped in a soup cup. So you need to ask for a bowl in order to have room to add brown sugar, raisins or milk.
The bathrooms have been hit and miss from fairly clean to filthy.
We waited a loooooong time for our food and when it finally arrived, mine was not what I ordered. I got crab cakes instead of eggs Benedict ATA. The waitress seemed miffed at me for wanting what I actually ordered. No apology, no offer to take part of the price off...nothing.
In summary, our go to place, well we hate to see it go downhill :0(. Hopefully it's just a slump and the one manager who is making an effort will be able to remedy some of the problems.
I will update with an improved rating in the future, if possible.
